Tour Information and Frequently Asked Questions
WHO CAN GO?
Almost anyone can go on the trip. People should be physically fit enough to walk a reasonable distance. Travelers must be at least 18 years of age to travel without a legal guardian.
WHO PROVIDES THE TRANSPORTATION?
Thielen Coaches of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. They are a superior company with the highest quality of drivers and motor coaches. For more information, please visit their website by clicking here.
WHERE WILL WE SPEND EACH NIGHT?
Each night will be spent in a quality hotel for at least eight hours. We spend most nights at Hampton Inn. Their clean hotels, comfortable beds, quality service, and warm breakfast options have made them our hotel of choice.
WHAT CAN I BRING?
You may bring one large suitcase and small carry-on (per person). Travelers are responsible for handling their own luggage to and from hotel rooms. If you have prescription medication, please be responsible for it.
IS THE ITINERARY SUBJECT TO CHANGE?
Changes are made if Major League Baseball changes a game time. A game called due to rain/weather, a rain delay, extra-innings, road construction, or some other unforeseen event could also impact the schedule. If we experience a game that is cancelled, we will be on to our next destination.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THE BUS?
No. The goal of the trip is to maintain a family atmosphere whether you are traveling with family or friends.
SEATING LOCATION AT THE GAMES.
We usually get the best available group seating locations at each ball park. You will not take one of our trips and find yourself in the upper level. The reason our tours have so many repeat customers is because of the quality busses, drivers, hotels, and location of game tickets.
SEATING LOCATION ON THE COACH.
There will be assigned seating on the first day of the tour so nobody traveling together gets separated. We will also rotate seats during the tour so everyone spends some time in the back, middle, and front of the coach.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
The price includes transportation in a motor coach with air-conditioning, bathroom, and TV/DVD. It also includes hotels, breakfast each morning, game tickets, and everything else in the itinerary. Basically, the only thing you have to pay for is meals and souvenirs.
HOW IS PAYMENT FOR THE TRIP HANDLED?
To reserve your spot on the bus, simply fill out the “Tour Registration Form,” along with a $200/person deposit. I’m sorry, but credit cards are not accepted. Once registered, I will notify you of receiving your down payment and registration. You will also receive final trip information in the mail (updated trip itinerary, listing of all times, hotels, etc.).
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
Cancellations received 35 days prior to departure will receive a full refund only if a replacement is found. If there is nobody on a waiting list, we will refund whatever we can save by canceling your hotels (some allow us to cancel on short notice with no penalty, while others do not).
