Why is this tour better than others? If you want convenience, we are only staying at two hotels during this 6-day tour! The first and last nights are in Bloomington, Minnesota, while the middle three nights are at our hotel near the Woodfield Mall (it was the largest mall in the USA prior to the Mall of America) in Schaumburg, which is one of the nicest Chicago suburbs! You are going to see and experience Chicago, but you’re also going to have time to relax and enjoy your time.
Tuesday, June 2: Today you’ll fly (or drive) to Bloomington, Minnesota. Our hotel is near the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport (MSP). If you fly, you can get free shuttle service from the airport. You can check-into your room anytime after 3:00 p.m. If you arrive early the hotel has free shuttle available to the Mall of America if you’d like to shop or have an evening meal. The night belongs to whatever you want to do.
Wednesday, June 3: We will depart the hotel and take a guided tour of Target Field. Afterwards, we will travel to Milwaukee to watch the Brewers host the San Francisco Giants. After the game, we will travel to our hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois. This will be our home for the next three nights!
Thursday, June 4: We will have plenty of free time for lunch and sightseeing at Navy Pier before attending a Cubs game (vs. the Athletics) under the lights at Wrigley Field. You will also take a 1-hour Chicago River Boat Architecture Tour!
Friday, June 5: You saw Wrigley Field the night before and now it’s time to experience a day game at the Friendly Confines. This will give you the full Wrigley Field Experience! After the game, we will return 25 miles to our hotel. There are many restaurants next door for a leisurely evening meal.
Saturday, June 6: We will return to Minnesota and attend a Twins game at Target Field (vs. the Kansas City Royals). After the game, we will return to our original hotel.
Sunday, June 7: Check-out day. Fly (or drive) home at your own convenience after having had a great week!
